Creating an Academic Transfer Degree Plan Academic Transfer Plan for the Education and Schools Cluster You have chosen the Academic Transfer pattern of education in the Education and Schools (EDSCH) career cluster. The Academic Transfer Pattern means that you will be taking General Education Core Curriculum courses and some major prerequisites at the community college. The major courses of the bachelor degree will be taken in the junior and senior years at the university after completion of the associate degree. This is often called a 2+2 Transfer Plan. Careers related to Early Childhood Paraprofessional, Childcare Provider, Teacher Certification, Teacher Aide, Librarian, Instructional Technology, Learning Support, School Counselor. Your educational degree plan will be an Associate in Arts or an Associate in Arts in Teaching Email your HCC Student ID number to a counselor to let him/her know that you are choosing an AA or AAT degree plan in the EDSCH Career Cluster. A Counselor will respond within 24-36 hours.
